The renowned early music ensemble Siglos Pasados came to Ajijic on January 8th, 2026 with a unique concert featuring Cantigas de Santa María, Arab-Andalusian nubas, Sephardic songs, and repertoire from the courts of the Catholic Monarchs and Emperor Charles V.
Under the direction of Maestro Enrique Florez, the ensemble brought these ancient sounds to life using authentic historical instruments, creating an intimate, evocative atmosphere in the beautiful gardens of Gardens of Dreams.
The special concert took place at Garden of Dreams in Ajijic. The afternoon to evening of music was dressed in an air of fantasy in the beautifully verdant and well lit gardens. Under the night sky historic music could be heard.
