Explore the remarkable circular pyramids, uncover their fascinating archeological history, and visit the on-site museum and interpretive center. The experience continues with a relaxing meal at Presa de la Vega restaurant, where we’ll enjoy delicious cuisine surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.
This will be a guided tour of Guachimontones with tour guide Santiago Baeza, a specialized expert. The guide is an architect and cultural promoter. He taught History of Mexico’s Cultural Heritage at ITESO for more than a decade. He also served as Director General of Culture for the City of Guadalajara and as Director General of Cultural Activities at the Jalisco Ministry of Culture. The presentation will be in English, with a Spanish translation.
The tour transportation will take place in a Sprinter van seating 20 people comfortably, with drinks and a light snacks served on board, where you will enjoy the journey to the archaeological site and later on, to Presa de la Vega, where we will enjoy a delicious meal.
