We are going to have live folk music - 'Son del Lago' musical group will be performing.

We will also be offering a special, new Mexican menu created 

for the day by Chef Oscar Pérez.

- Créeme brulee de tres quesos y mermelada de jitomate deshidratado y chipotle

- Tarta hojaldrada de huitlacoche con salsa de chile ancho

MAIN DISHES

- Filete de res adobado con salsa de vino tinto y puré de papa al romero

Huerto Cafe Turns 6 Years Old!

Amid the upheaval of our times Huerto Cafe has continued to provide

the community with the best food and ambiance in town.

We were given our clearance to re-open and were soon serving meals

at a distance, with strict safety measures in place,

to our hungry clients.

Dining room distancing...the new fashion.

Masks are a must for our crew. 

 The lovely gardens remain true...beautiful nature at lakeside is a constant.

 

Our anniversary cake was made with lots of love and chocolate

by Colibri Garden's Peter and Georgina.  Gracias!

Chef Charlie's Food

 First out is Chefcito's Mole Rojo or Red Mole.

Huerto's own Chef Charlie has started a new line of prepared foods

named 'Chefcito' Productos Artesanales.

 For out 6th Anniversary celebration 'Chefcito' prepared a special

gift combo of Raspberry Jam and Garlic Butter.

Thank you speeches were given...

and then the Chocolate Peanut Butter cake

was enjoyed by all.
